Cheryl fountain
Board President
A Cambridge native, Cheryl returned to the area several years ago after living in Annapolis and is proud to call Deep Harbour home. She works remotely as a paralegal for a Washington, DC law firm and brings strong organizational and communication skills to her service on the Board. I enjoy helping maintain and enhance our community while spending time reading, connecting with neighbors, and caring for my two ragdoll cats, Remi and Ryder.
karen thompson
treasurer
Motivated by a desire to better understand how HOA dues are allocated and managed, Karen chose to serve on the Board of Directors. Her professional experience has proven invaluable in reviewing financial reports, evaluating expenditures, and supporting responsible fiscal decision making.
During Karen’s time on the Board, she has gained meaningful insight into the association’s operations and remain committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, and long-term financial stability. Karen looks forward to continuing to keep a watchful eye on the community’s finances and contributing to a well-run, well supported association.
Karen retired and relocated to Cambridge in 2022, bringing more than four decades of experience in job cost accounting within both electrical and general construction industries. This background has given her a deep understanding of budgeting, financial oversight, and the practical realities of managing complex projects.
